Lunch in the Gardens

Carlton Gardens is right across the street from Charlotte's office and we met there for lunch today. The winter lighting was beautiful, as was my wife!

Empty Shell

This is inside the facade of the old Myer department building. They have torn the old place down but preserved the shell to house something new. The whole construction site is easily visible from my office but I took this shot from the lane down below.

A Few From 4/14

Today was busy, I didn't manage to shoot a few pictures until I returned to our humble abode.

Flinders Street Station is a slightly boring subject but its hard not to photograph it!

Along Spring Street

Today we have a few pictures from the Old Treasury Building and Gordon Reserve.

The Renaissance Revival style uses many Classical architectural elements such as tympanums, Corinthian capitals and meander motifs.

Grampians Getaway

We did go to the Grampians this weekend, and the weather was awful! Misty, rainy and grey. The small amount of hiking we did was in the pouring rain but we still had a fun time.

Yellow

I took three unplanned shots on the way to work this week and they all happened to share a common color.

Before & After

It's anniversary time and I had to clean up my image! Charlotte will enjoy these pictures, particularly the second one.
